The House

The Hatch Home. Est September 2011. Almost all houses are 'works in progress' so in looking for a house you should look at reality and possibilty. A home should express personality and style but when selling a home, MOST people try to tone down and neutralize colors so that any buyer could see the possibilies of buying. The house we bought was a little different. My house had faries and dogs painted on the sheds, an all green bathroom (including the floor, celing, light switch covers, and doors) and an all blue laundry room (also bottom to top same color). The great thing is that I love my house! I have room to move and breath, do whatever I want, and have whatever animals I want. I have horses, a dog, a goat and a rooster. I've painted and hung pictures and dug a garden. I'm happy out here. This is my house. I get to make it our Home. Troy and Audrey Hatch.
This is my shop. (It's also a work in progress) I love it! I will be able to cut, color, perm, do nails, and waxing. This will not replace me working at the USU Barbershop but it will be an addition. The inside of my house is changing every day. Over Christmas break I painted the laundry room (The one that started out all blue). This is the ideal laundry room. I not only have a cabinet over my washer and dryer but I also have 3 sets of drawers with a countertop on top that is great for folding clothes. The doors and celings were painted white before we moved in so I just wanted to paint the walls and cabinets. The walls are now a grey color and as soon as I can get paint I will be finishing with black cabinets. Yeah for painting!!!

Audrey and Troy

I have always said I'm happy being single, and I really was happy. I got the opportunity to go on dates with lots of different types of guys but I always stayed single and happy. Then I fell in love. I first met Troy at a college rodeo in Logan 2 years ago in August. He worked with my brother at Alpine Cleaning and Restoration and they had been given tickets for the rodeo so James invited me. I was living in Logan with my grandparents and when they came to pick me up I was not sure what to expect. James had just said there was this new guy from work coming with us. I'm not sure what Troy's first impression of me was, but he laughed when I climbed into the truck and sarcastically asked why he drove a Ford. The rodeo was fun and by the end of the night I had agreed to fill in on a double date the next day horse back riding. I didn't have Troy's number and I didn't really know him so we didn't see alot of each other untill summer came. Troy bought a boat and James invited me to come a few times and I started hanging out more with the boys from Alpine. The real start came last December when Troy asked me to go to the Alpine Christmas party with him. A few weeks later I asked him on a double date with James. After that things moved little by little, a date every now and then, hanging out with a bunch of friends or family. Slowly I realized that this was a different kind of relationship than I've ever had. I really started liking Troy and everyone can see it.

Horses

Me and Ashlie Howells out in Richmond riding horses.

Troy Hatch is a horse trainer and is always telling us we need to come ride the horses so Saturday, August 21, we had a little night ride. The dark wasn't the best for taking pictures so I didn't get a picture of James or JP in the chaps and cowboy hats but James, Justin (JP) Petersen, Troy, Ashlie and myself had lots of fun watching the lightning roll in as we rode through the night.

I really should be cleaning my room right now!

I moved back in at Grandmas house after being with some friends for a few months and wow my room is a MESS!!!! I loaded up my car to bring stuff back and they had closed off the road so all my stuff sat in my car while I went to Smithfield and then work and then dancing and then got dumped into my room the next day before class! Then we had the Relay For Life this weekend. A 24 hr walk and fundraiser to help with cancer research. So by Saturday night I did not want to do anything but crawl into bed and sleep!!! Now it's monday and FHE is over and I finally have time to get my stuff in some kind of order and what do I do? Get on facebook and then remember I havn't blogged for a long time and then saw all the new backgrounds and changed some pictures and now that it's about time for sleep I realize I really should've cleaned my room!!! :D

Interesting

Isn't it interesting? ----LIFE----- People continue to come and go. Sometimes you feel like you are on top of the world and others you feel like it can't get any worse. One day it seems like you have all the right people there but then the next thing you know they're gone.
I think life has a lot to show. Nobody's perfect, no one stays forever. Whatever doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Mistakes teach lessons and also make you stronger. LIFE is always changing so let's sit back and relax and enjoy the ride! Don't forget to say I love you to the ones who mean the most. Don't forget to say please when you need something. Most important; don't forget to sy thank you to the ones you will never forget!
LIFE may change, friends and family may change, you may change. Make the most of all the moments you have with each other. Smile, and change each day into a good day.

The Ring

Everyone says a dimond is forever. Well this is not always the case. My mom and dad have been married for 25 years now and a few months ago my mom discovered her dimond in her wedding ring was gone. So she put her wedding ring aside and has been wearing a sterling silver ring with a CZ dimond in it. My dad has been looking at dimonds trying to find one to replace the old one with. He called me and told me he'd found one the other day. So i went to look at them and me and my sister picked out the perfect dimond. It was the neatest thing to go pick up that ring with the new dimond all set! It looks so pretty! She was so exited when my dad gave her the new ring!

I just need to vent

so can i just vent for a minute? you really don't have to read it and most of it probably won't make sence but i just need to vent. my boss at payless- well i just don't like him. none of the girls i work with like him. i always try to avoid talking about him cause he makes me mad. I am usually good about keeping myself calm but i just can't stand him. i've been working at payless for a year and a half now and most of the time i've been practically running the store. he sits in the back room and 'does paperwork' most of his shift. when the store gets a visit and they say the store looks really good he tells them how he's been coaching and training alot and when they say the store needs improvements he tells them he's been so busy dealing with other stuff and hasn't spent alot of time in his store. he has been in a super bad mood lately too. he keeps "coaching" us. really he's just telling us we're not doing our job right. but we're doing way more than what he ever does! the weekends are always the worst. he has only ever worked one sunday in the past 2 years if not longer but everyone else has to rotate and work about one a month. saturdays are hard too. usually he will make up big projects we need to finish and then go check on another store or go on a really long lunch. we usually get an hour long lunch but he will either come back really early or stay longer. but if anyone else is even a few minutes late they get in trouble. this has been a super long week because he has had so many projects and has done nothing. today he was in the back room most of the day like always and we were really busy. he had 2 people who were on call and one had asked for the day off cause she was moving. so by 6:00 he decided he needed to call someone in and he called the one who was moving. then when she came he had more 'paperwork' in the back to do so me and the other girl were left alone in the messy store to help customers and clean everything up. while the other girl was helping them i straightened the shoes. payless is a pretty big store and we have a ton of shoes. i had to straighten about every shoe in the whole store. there was one other girl called in to help me but my boss only had her stay about 15 minutes and then had her leave again. anyways i ended up giving him my 2 weeks notice. i have a good job at the school and i don't want to have a bad attitude every time i work but it's hard to be cheerful when you work with him and he sits in the backroom and complains about a long day while you run the store.
i can't wait to be gone from there. i really will miss the girls i work with but i for sure won't miss having to do both my job and his!!!
